Your Financial Data Is Private — Even From Us
Arthavita's founders and employees do not have access to your individual portfolio holdings, financial goals, investment data, or account balances. Your financial information is processed automatically and securely by our systems and AI to generate your personalized recommendations — no human at Arthavita can browse or view your personal financial details.
You remain in full control of your data at all times. You can export or delete your data from Settings at any time.
1. Information We Collect
Personal Information
We may collect personally identifiable information that you voluntarily provide, including:
- Name and email address
- Account credentials (passwords are encrypted)
- Profile information (age, life stage, experience level)
- Financial goals and risk tolerance preferences
Financial Information
To provide our portfolio tracking services, we collect:
- Portfolio holdings and allocations
- Investment transactions (manually entered)

- Investment preferences and strategies
Optional Brokerage Connectivity: We offer optional read-only brokerage account connectivity through our integration with SnapTrade, a regulated account aggregation service. If you choose to connect a brokerage account:
- We receive read-only access to your holdings and positions
- We never receive your brokerage login credentials
- Your brokerage username and password go directly to your broker — never to Arthavita
- A unique encrypted token (not your password) is stored to maintain the connection
- You can disconnect at any time from Settings → Connected Accounts

Brokerage connectivity is entirely optional. All portfolio data can also be entered manually.
Automatically Collected Information
When you access our Service, we may automatically collect:

We use Anthropic's Claude AI as our primary AI engine for investment analysis, recommendations, and coaching. We may also use OpenAI as a secondary fallback provider. These AI services process your portfolio and financial data only to generate personalized insights for you. Your data is not used to train AI models.
